Our Story

From Tom Design
to Lorren Mae

The early days & now.

Previously called Tom Design Shop, we began in 2008 as a small creative outlet, just Debbie, a few tools, and a love for creating at home while raising her young family. In those early days, every piece was made by hand and shipped from the kitchen table, slowly building a community of customers who valued thoughtful, personal gifts.

As the shop grew, so did our capabilities. We expanded into a full studio in Southern Utah, added custom engraving, and introduced handwriting jewelry, a category that became deeply personal when Debbie’s mother passed away in 2019. Creating her own handwriting piece was a powerful reminder of what our customers feel: the comfort, connection, and memory held inside something so small and meaningful. Those experiences shaped our belief that jewelry can carry stories worth keeping.

Today, we step into our next chapter as Lorren Mae, a name inspired by the middle names of our two oldest daughters and generations of family before them. This rebrand reflects our evolution by continuing to create personalized and engraved pieces while expanding into fine jewelry, including solid gold, gemstones, diamonds, and modern heirlooms designed for everyday life. Thank you for growing with us and allowing us to be part of your most meaningful moments.
